"Aces" by Dear Mr. Henshaw (2025)
This is my first studio album under the moniker Dear Mr. Henshaw. To call it a solo album would be leaving out one of my favorite parts of the story—The chapter where I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dozed off somewhere dreaming about collaborating with some of my best friends and favorite musicians. People I love hanging, laughing, and crying with who also happen to be incredible musicians.
I wrote these twelve songs mostly in solitude, but they came to life when people I love brought their voices and instruments and ideas to a studio in Seattle and cracked their hearts open next to mine so we could all smear a little blood on the tape.
